All they need to do is read the NYT to know what the environmentalists and unionists think. But not what the energy folks think, or at least not presented in a balanced way.

I don't understand your propensity to introduce extraneous points into every argument. Perhaps that's another sophistry technique you learned via your law practice.

The NYT has nothing to do with the point, which was that, if the Bush folks want to get the pulse of the energy biz, all they have to do is talk to themselves. For other businesses, they need to look elsewhere for expertise.
