If EMC cuts the price of it's products to or below NTAP's then NTAP will have to respond with a similar cut, it's simple business. Oh......so if ntap has to respond with a similar cut. How much does the ntap system cost initially as compared to an emc san solution? I was under the delusion that ntap had an initial cost well below that of emc...not considering total cost of ownership. I am also confused that "simple business" ignores expensive monthly maintenance costs that are known at the time of purchase? BirdDog
