Yes, companies like Georgia Pacific and Weyerhauser, but these are quite cyclical, International Paper has sizeable holdings of timber as well. Right now, all three are probably safe bets for the next year (they are "value" stocks selling all at less than 2 times book, which I believe might be understated). The problem, IMHO, is that in the next decline these will actually come down ahead of the crowd and a good half of the positive current move is already behind. Apart of that, these are so "boring", you are better off buying F o GM if you want a cyclical play.
