Dan3 ... You are "clueless" on the use of SOI. It will not increase AMD's market share. It well could cost them market share because the COS of SOI is higher. This could force AMD to have to price their CPUs higher than before. Why increase your manufacturing costs and risk without substantial increases in performance ??!! Just doesn't make sense ... unless ... AMD's goal is to HYPE this difference. Now AMD wouldn't do that, would they ??!! Make It So, Yousef
