Our institutions are all of them behind the times. Technology has overtaken them.

Today's technology reality makes a joke of the patent system.

1) The patent system devised for the time when it was necessary to protect people would like to profit from its invention of a mouse trap.

2) It is for a epoch when time was money. Today time is not money. Wasting time is money.

3) We need a system that protects the guy who devise a better Time-Waster.

4) The patent system goes against the Law of the Increasing Returns.

5) Oracle Corporation opposes the patentability of software. The Company believes that existing copyright law and available trade secret protections, as opposed to patent law, are better suited to protecting computer software developments.

6) Patents are costly and the status quo a.k.a REGUSPATTOFF do not want to manage itself into obsolescence.

7) The patent lawyers do not want to see from one day to another they investment in education being worthless.

In the end it all comes down to the Nation-State -this dangerous anacronism- that is dead but forgot to lay down. Like Bruce Willis in the film "Sixth Sense"
