PCCW EXTENDS LEASED-LINE SERVICE TO EUROPE & THAILAND

HONG KONG, Aug 02, 2001 (AsiaPulse via COMTEX) -- Pacific Century Cyberworks' (PCCW) (0008) international leased-line service has been extended to France, Germany, Switzerland and Thailand.
The extension means that the company now covers 16 destinations worldwide.
Under a service-level commitment, customers will be given a rebate on their monthly service charges should the international leased-line services fall below the 100 percent guaranteed performance level, the company said in a statement.
Destinations now featuring the full service-availability commitment include Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the UK and the US.
