How much does the ntap system cost initially as compared to an emc san solution? That's not where NTAP is recieving a competitive threat. We all know there is no cpmparison between an EMC san and an NTAP NAS system. If EMC is willing and able to bring down the price of their frankenstien NAS system below that of NTAP's system, all I'm saying is that cash desperate comapnies might take the bait and NTAP will need to respond. As far as costly monthly maintenance being a factor, I see it ignored in my industry every single day for lower first cost. 100
