Rev. 3:18 1.Gold tried in the fire is pure and good..
1 Cor 3:12-13 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
2.White raiment that tou mayest be clothed...so as to hide our nakedness....these are our good works for God. These guys were naked because they had no works which were done for the Kingdom of God, when all of what they brought to heaven was tried in the fire....nothing remained....they were left naked.
Rev 19:8 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev 20:12-13 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Just a few scriptures to document works
3. Eyesalve, in the greek #2854 Kollura, is a plaster-like bandage with a salve to heal very sore eyes...even to the point of blinded eyes They closed their eyes to the word of God. They were neither cold nor hot, which meant they did not care one way or another about God and or His word.
Have a blessed day my friend Shalom....><> |
