Thanks for the information. This is an interesting industry where one may readily assume order of magnitude increases with routine regularity. So assuming 1 wafer per 2 hours a 5000 wafer/week throughput would require 5000/(24*7/2) = minimum of 60 implanters plus some spares for maintenance.

And AMD's roadmap shows all performance processors on 0.13 SOI and all value processors on 0.13 in 2H02 so perhaps half of Dresden will be SOI and what will Austin be doing? Will AMD still be making 0.18 value processors from Fab 25 or just convert it all to flash (yuck)? Of course, I am typing this on one of those Fab 25 CPU powered machines.
