Just curious what you find objectionable in the teachings of Jesus Christ? Note, I said his teachings, not any particular religion that is associated with him. Mankind is inherently flawed, and our interpretations of divine intent may get screwed up from time to time (i.e. the crusades, inquisition, Jim and Tammy Faye Baker), but I would really like to know what you see in any of the material attributed to Jesus that you disagree with.

Mostly though, religion is about some guy getting power, the money and the girls [or, in the Catholic case, the priests get the boys].

Please show me the Catholic encyclical on how to get power, money, or the boys/girls. If something like that has occurred, it's due to the weakness of mankind, not as a result of some command from the holy church. The closest I can see in that regard is a tithe, and in that vein, Jesus said "Give unto Ceasar what is Ceasars, give unto God what is Gods".
