Hollywood NOW Alliance 06/14/00 HONG KONG, CHINA, 2000 JUN 14 (NB) -- By Staff , itdaily. Pacific Century CyberWorks (PCCW) is to introduce a new TV and Internet service through Network of the World (NOW) to create content based on online entertainment stock market Hollywood Stock Exchange (http://www.hsx.com ).
NOW is the soon-to-be-launched TV and Web content service of PCCW.
The NOW/Hollywood Stock Exchange deal is to coproduce a daily, globally broadcast, streaming video program.
The site, at hsx.com is an entertainment stock market where visitors buy, sell and trade shares on movies, celebrities and music with a virtual currency called the Hollywood Dollar.
