Re: The fact is that there have been reports of Athlon instability The fact is that there have been reports of P4 instability, Intel said, yeah, the 850 chipset doesn't work with a large subset of all add-in cards, tough. Evidently Intel's position is that they don't have a problem, the person who bought their product has a problem, and it's the buyer's hard luck. Anybody who ever got a bad Tyan board, Intel or AMD, can get it replaced unless the problem is that you have an Intel P4 and something other than all buss master PCI cards. In which case, tough luck, you should have gone with an AMD system.
