Bill, I've followed you like a hawk for years.

You have always had a unique way of stating the obvious. Nevertheless, I follow this FA stuff like a hawk, and I have never seen it quantified in any form before. Frankly, I was totally blown away.

Again, I'm not following little puppies. I'm following 77 companies that represent 50% of all of the equity in this country. There is only one number that they are reporting to the SEC and that is earnings in accordance with GAAP. There are enough funny games that can be played with that number. However, the numbers that the ANAL-ysts are using for some 25% of these companies go way beyond funny.

The real problem is that CNBC in the interest of maintaining cheap content (cheap in the context of less expensive or worthless?) is contributing to the rape of the naive investor. I guess I'll just play romantic and take the high ground on this one.

Games aside, until the real numbers improve there is going to be a lot more pain!!!
