“Combo trading summary for Thursday and Friday”

Intraday Investments Trading Summary for Thursday, August 2, 2001 and Friday, August 3, 2001

Due to technical problems with our data provider on Thursday afternoon and evening, we were unable to generate an accurate trading summary on Thursday evening. As such, we are combining the trades from both the Thursday and Friday sessions. For the sake of simplicity, intraday and overnight trades were grouped together for just this report.

Here is a summary of our round-trip trades: NVDA short + 1.53, RIMM long + 1.31 (thanks to trader-member Cheryl for spotting this one), QQQ short + 0.69, NSM short + 0.64 (closed half position, still holding rest), VRSN short + 0.68 (closed half position, still holding rest), ALTR short + 0.34, CTXS short + 0.13 (net profit from two round-trips, also still holding half position from second entry), MERQ long (scratch, net from two round-trips), EBAY short (0.05) (net loss from two round-trips), NETA short (0.50), and ITWO long (0.32). We also closed the following overnight/swing trades from Wednesday: TARO Aug. 90 calls short + 1.90, PSFT short + 0.79, ITWO long + 0.58, BRCD short + 0.28, and MCHP short + 0.86 (closed half position, still holding rest).

We are holding the following positions as overnight/swing trades going into the weekend: GX long (core trade), ADI short, BRCD short, LRCX short, LLTC short, LSI short, IDTI short, NSM short, TXN short, VRSN short (half position), VRTS short, KKD short (half position), and JWN Aug. 20 calls short.

Trade Well!
