unless the problem is that you have an Intel P4 and something other than all buss master PCI cards. In which case, tough luck, you should have gone with an AMD system. I would guess that there are most likely few, if any, non-bus Master PCI Cards around anymore. But you go right ahead and cling to that non-bus master PCI straw for all it's worth Dan. Every time you say it, it displays your desperation. It seems that AMDroiditus is spreading even faster than I thought. AMDrioditus: An Affliction characterized by signs of desperation, causing the patient to hallucinate that AMD is ahead of intel in everything, that Jerry Sanders is a God who can do no wrong, and that any deficiencies in AMD are obviously the result of a conspiracy by Craig Barret, Andy Grove, or both. :-) Semi
