I agree that the emerging markets are not likely to do well until developed country stock markets at least stop going down. But the former are so cheap that they will outperform by a huge percentage once things start to improve IMHO. And the downside appears quite limited compared to the still greatly overvalued US market.

BTW I am fascinated that posters on this thread pay very little if any attention to valuation. The focus is almost exclusively on technical and cycle analysis. To me valuation always is the main thing. That is why I cannot get excited by the Dow and S&P 500 at these levels no matter what the charts are saying.
