Powell stated he would have also served under Gore. In other words, he would have served under anyone. Condaleeza Rice has very strong contacts in the oil industry and is a rare exception considering her race and gender. I won't say she is a token but she may just be the rare right-winger of her type. I'd still like to know how Powell made 50 million in 8 years though. I know he was on the board of AOL but that's all. Maybe that is how. If so fine. Not to say he's corrupt it just seems everyone in Bush's White House has gotten very-very rich being part of the club. And not that making money is bad. We all want to. But when you look at Alcoa trading energy during the height of the gouging and our Secretary of Treasury being its former CEO you have to smell a skunk, or many skunks. You'd expect this in the Philippine government or the Mexican government but not ours.
