Mary you maybe right about product transition. The only thing is that the next transition is coming up with intel moving to .13 and amd moving to .13 and hammers. Athlon is very successful against p4, you have to admit that, and it would become low end amd processor within year to 2 years. Intel's ia-64 platform is not likely to be mid range desktop in that time period. So it would be p4 against hammer. p4 better get to 10Ghz soon Regards -Albert
