Re: Aer Lingus Contract

I keep a list of all ALYD-related companies that I hear mentioned by the company, by consultants, by people that e-mail me etc. This list is quite large and, believe it or not, Aer Lingus was not on it. This one took me totally by surprise.

I really do find it humorous that ALYD announces a multi-million line contract with Aer Lingus, a company that just posted an $80M profit on a $1.5B turnover, and the stock goes down. ALYD might just have announced they've rearranged their deck chairs for all the market seems to care. That's life on the BBs.

But, seriously, this is a BIG announcement-- it shows that ALYD's scarcely publicized European branch is bringing home the bacon. It also serves to whet the appetite of institutions that are making plans to buy in when the NASDAQ listing is approved. When you consider the magnitude of projects ALYD could potentially have lined up for after NASDAQ, perhaps this contract du jour might best be called an appetizer <gg>.
