If you're an investor, and you have a job, and you feel secure about keeping it, then you would think that these job cuts are good. You could also look at this way...

If you're an investor, and you have a job in the Services, Production, Telecom, Hardware, Software, and Networking sectors, and you DO NOT feel secure about keeping it, then you would think that these job cuts are bad. Why ? Cause you feel that you may be next to lose that precious job. Then you don't spend as much, and do what you can to pay off debts. Example:

Silicon Valley, get ready for life in the slow lane.

Or, After so many layoffs, even the most confident investor, who has a job, and feels secure will become depressed, will begin to worry, and will trim down on spending. Simple case of supply vs. demand. Eventually there will be too much news of layoffs to warrant a positive spin.

Let's hope we never get that far. I hope, and wish for everyone who lost a job this year, that they get one as soon as possible.
