QVC had those A4 DVD/CDRW Notebooks 3 Sunday nights ago. They sold 2000 of them for $1999 in a few hours! What amazed me was how the bimbo pushing them mentioned that a Compaq rep was hanging around to see how they moved, yet despite having AMD's logo pimped all over the place, nobody said a word about the new A4 processor with it's new power management features, sigh. I doubt those retail chains can keep them in stock for long, especially with the back to school season upon us. There are so many crappy last year notebooks still in stock, that they probably hide the new Compaq's for fear all those fossils will never move.
