You can rationalize it any way you want to. CSCO made some bad moves and that is why they are down nearly 80% from their all time high. I think they finally got the message as they quit paying these outrageous sums and decided to get rid of the dead weight they picked up along the way. That's the way I see it.jmho.knc

edit: as far as them dying if they hadn't bought these companies, if you truly believe that, then Barron's was correct in portraying CSCO as a ponzi scheme/house of cards. I have always been under the impression that the buying all technology because they had no inhouse smarts was bs. Maybe you don't believe that to be true.
