Doesn't sound like a global shift to "fabless and foundries" will help out the suppliers. It's best to sell overproduction equipment <g> Besides, I kind of like the semicycle.

Re:new non-gaseous-based materials for CVD processes

We did a solid source CVD process at one time. We packed a tube with a slit in it full of solid precursors. The tube was motor driven into a hot box where it vaporized the stuff. Real high tech <g>.
