I had a T-shirt that a friend printed up saying "Beeblebrox for Galactic President" on the front, and "Re-Elect Zaphod" on the back.

Personal favorites of mine that I consider old friends and will re-read on occasion are "Time Enough for Love" by Robert Heinlein and the "Belgariad" and the "Mallorean" series by David Eddings. And how could i forget the "Dune" series by Frank Herbert.
