Wall street is officially on vacation. Volume will be less than impressive. After Labor day, everyone will come back to make some money, whatever a short period it is, until the official tax season begins October 1.

So, we expect the volume will be down, but the caretakers in the specialists' and market makers' offices will keep this period uneventful and may even have some upward trend. The upward trend is necessary so as not to trigger a sell-off atmosphere, when the bosses are out. Cash is king; so sell more shorts to gather more cash makes sense.
