CNBC just did an exchange on the merits of brainstorming. It turns out only one in four ideas merit the process. However the ideas that succeed often take advantage of combining two exiting things to create something greater than the two parts alone. Like the combination of fixed broadband wireless and DSL and the like over wire. A concern was that a good idea wasn’t tested and followed through on soon enough while the focus was there. I guess it is time to talk to the CEO.
