Merill Lynch did put up a short term buy more than a month ago. Since then, I gesss this stock began to be a hot trade target organizing by some firms. If you study the annual report, you may find the great improvment in earning last year. But everything is very hard to predict in China's market. Because of small amount of outstanding share, the share price is easy to be manipulated. When momentum guys jump in, you know what will happen. The price can go to the moon or fall to the earth if the volatility collapse. Interestingly, last week, the Chinese market dropped more than 10%, this one just keep matching on. I did observe some large block traded after closing yesterday and today. It is highly unusual for this thinly traded stock. I don't have a cryistal ball to tell me the hype effect of Hong Kong taken over is over or will resume. I hope this one can past 10 and be able to stay here. I didn't jump into this one because my past experience of getting burn by trading those kind of issue preventing me. I did pick up some other Chinese ADR today and think If CBA keep moving up, I guess the others will follow the suit.
