15:02 ET Altera (ALTR) 30.98 -0.94: Prudential says that channel checks reveal that there were spot shortages of PLD (programmable logic devices) in July; Pru is uncertain if this is an absolute sign of improvement, but does believe that PLD demand will improve in Q3.
