"That's a reactionary. So you might get away with claiming Russia's communists are reactionaries. If you consider that a revolution occurred in Russia about a decade ago, then they can also qualify as counter-revolutionaries. The Czar's boys did after 1917."

You really don't get it, do you.? When the Czars were in power, they were the right wing and the commies were left. After controlling the country about 75 years, the progressives under Yeltsin and Gorbie became the left and the hard core commies the right. Don't try to apply the definition you use on this country to everyone.

" However, "conservative" is also a synonym for right wing pro-capitalist, anti-statists in this country."

I'm pro-capitalist and I don't think you would label me right wing...I'd be very offended ...

"And gao is closer than you and your evil twin. Leftists advocate state control of the economy in varying degrees."

In Russia, the old hard line communists advocate state control of economy and they are right wing..... In China, the hard line Maoists are right wing, the folks making changes toward capitalism are left.... Some day, after capitalism has been running the economy of China or Russia for many years, Socialists or Communists may try to take over again....then they will be considered leftists and the capitalists right wing as they are here.
