This funk will end that way too. On the day before the orders are placed, noone will be indicating any interest as well. They will all come at once and CEO's can only guess when that day will occur.

Uhhhh....I agree with you that CSCO should survive this complete melt-down in their client base. And by melt-down I mean all things telecom and enterprise related. However, when you consider the size of that Universe that's gone belly up (ISP's, ASP's, CLEC's, etc.), literally leaving scads of telecom equipment of all sorts to be scooped up at pennies on the dollar by a vastly smaller Universe of survivors (assuming of course they want/need the equipment)....well....don't count on the glory days of 1.5 years ago occurring any time soon.

Telecom, et.al., have just entered their 40 years of wandering in the desert. Which probably translates, when you consider the nature of tech., into at least a couple of years.
