I've been away in Colorado the past week, and missed the latest fun. Not complaining, though!

I did have a discussion with IR about the new OnStar deal. DGurgle has it right except that the $5.8 million does not include maintenance. It is for additional development, and basically dedicates certain engineering staff for the OnStar project as the service enhancements get added. Of course, lets first see a service!

The new patent expansion efforts seem very worthwhile. Let's hope GMGC is successful in making its case to others that GMGC's technology needs to be licensed in certain circumstances. Defending their patent is a costly proposition, so I hope they are dynamic in their approach.

Now can't we get some folks to step up and squeeze another 20 cents out of this grapefruit?
