E Graphs - Did we come up with the term *wizdumb* independently of each other? techstocks.com

Ice - Your place sounds like a piece of paradise! Lots of wonderful critters, but I notice that you didn't mention coyotes. You gotta have out there too, right? OH man, spooky -- just typed the word and they started hollin' and now tthe dog is cranked up too.
We have 40 acres of dry hills and ridges with irrigated farmland (not ours) in the valley below. I've been nailed by scorpions several times over the last 20 years, but never so bad as some of the winged stingers.

We back up to BLM which starts only about 50 feet from my keyboard here and goes forever. Lots of deer and elk as a result. Mountain lions have repopulated over the last decade or so and tend to hang somewhere close to a venison dinner, so I've taken to never walking without the dog with me on a leash. Had a runner killed on the other side of the moutain a few years ago by an angry mommy bear. He apparently ran up between her and the kids and pissed her off. She went about 30 feet up a pine tree and dragged him down (fall killed him, she ony chewed on him a little bit).

Nature, ya gotta love it! I'll take any part of it over the city any day.
