I have researched hydrogen fuels a lot. There is a stumbling block with how to reduce the size of the water-to hydrogen fuel converter engines to be able to fit into cars and appliances. Just like the original A-bomb was huge and now they can pack them into briefcases we should be investing in research to try and conquer this problem. The Germans are already way ahead of us on it with Mercedes and maybe others planning hydrogen cars for the near future. That will be the biggest market of the future and America might be left behind thanks to oil-gouging dinosaurs like Bush-Cheney running things.
