I've got to step in here and ask this question.
Do you really believe that George Bush is responsible for the state of the economy right now?

I believe we go through boom and bust, economic expansion and economic contraction, and there's not really too much the President can do to change that.

I am also of the belief that tax increases will prolong our economic contractions while tax cuts should spur the economy to expand again.

I really would like an honest answer, but how could anyone think someone who has been in office less than 7 months is responsible for this?
