Put simply, this was a costly experience I will not forget.
I believe that in about 8 years, I will be able to have, once again, in my cash account the money that I officially lost upon my recent unloading of all my shares. Thank goodness for decimalization; otherwise, I would have never been able to unload my shares at about .024. On the other hand, it probably wasn't even worth it for me to unload my shares.
Anyway, I still remember financial advice giver and radio host Bob Brinker declaring something to the effect of: "Oh, sure. Go ahead and invest in penny stocks, but ONLY if you want to lose all the invested money." I remember hearing these words right around the time I really started gobbling up PNLK shares.
My PNLK experience has taught me a lot, including being more prudent not only with my stock investing strategies (or speculating, in the case of PNLK), but being more prudent in life in general.
All in all, I do believe that GZ and others originally had the best of intentions for the shareholders. However, when they eventually saw how much of a longshot that attaining any kind of success would be, they straddled the line between taking care of shareholders and themselves. Obviously, many folks fervently believe that they crossed the line.
I am trying to put all this behind me, but it is very difficult. I continue to replay in my mind how much I actually had on paper, and of course, how much I lost in reality. It is difficult to overlook the numerous courses of unwise actions that I took regarding the PNLK shares. I knew so much better, yet I was absolutely blind.
Oh well . . . Live and learn, I guess.
I wanted to get this last venting session out of my system on this PNLK thread. I also wanted to thank all the individuals who corresponded with me publicly and privately regarding PNLK, as well as to all the posters for their contributions on this thread.
Sincerely,
