sorry, i apologize for disturbing the deafening silence reigning in this thread.
it's obvious now in retrospect that Captain Keith "Nemo" Krach should have bought a fleet of Advanced Aircraft Carriers -as you suggested then- instead of a Submarine when the shares were still worth something.
submarine travel under the Seas is fascinating initially but it gets boring after some time.
