I used to have a DV camcorder. It was a Sony DV700. I had to sell it
after my massive lose in Cube. The quality of the image was pretty good,
at least as good as MPEG II. I don't know what type of compression they were using
but it must be a SONY set-up. I believe Sony had some plans or maybe still
has plans for this set-up. You people shouldn't think Cube rules the
world. Sony has more power to push their set-up although we have not seen
that yet.
