the oil/nat. gas sector has been making $$$ hand over fist as evidenced by the run their stocks have had How much money they've made has absolutely nothing to do with it, taken alone. You have to also consider the risk. The fact is that oil/gas development is one of the most risky businesses you can be in; as a result, large profits are warranted. Perhaps you've forgotten what the Valdez spill cost Exxon?
