If recent history is any clue, today was the day to buy.
So I did. Bought SKX (Skechers) the hot shoe company with low PE and HAL (holding my nose but figuring Cheney will throw his old company plenty of inside deals). Was tempted on GE, ADBE. Might buy more EMC, NOK and PALM on any dip. Eventually these are big winners from here. But for now I prefer the companies which actually have big profits and are still somehow down near their recent lows. I am only buying what I can afford to let sit there 6 months.
That's how "bullish" I am. Optimistically we could rally away by next month with another rate cut to help. Pessimistically we should be in much better shape within 6 months by which time inventories will be gone and supply and demand as well as low interest rates should heat things up again. Hey at least we have no inflation and the Jeffords move stopped the energy price gouging from the Bush-Cheney gang. Now if only Bush would spend his 30 day vacation trying to cheerlead the economy a little, maybe buy a computer or offer tax breaks for the computer industry instead of for his buddies in the drilling business. Better yet for clean fuels but the tech sector could sure use some help from leadership, it's crucial to America's future and economic movement. And no I don't have any charts.
