I think it's implicit in the announcement that Rockwell loves Franklin also. Company relationships are chosen with care and don't just come out of blue. Granted, there's a lot of things that the announcement doesn't say, but Franklin can't be too explicit. That's just the way it is. If all people can get out of this is that Franklin conforms to all industry standards in a cutting edge technology, fine. That'll slay 80% of the competition (Zipf's Law - 20% of the members of a set do 80% of the work and FTEL is clearly in the top 20%).

As for what it does for the stock today, maybe nothing. But I've looked at some of the technical analysis of FTEL and going sideways will turn a lot of indicators bullish. In that sense the announcement is very bullish.
