The Chihuahua's Top Ten - "Come to Jesus" Realizations about the Oilpatch: 1. These aint growth stocks - they be cyclicals; is, was & allways will be... 2. It's the economy (and supply trends) stupid ! 3. Aint no such thang as "new paradigms" and it aint ever - "different this time"... 4. Allways beat the crowd to the party & never, never - EVER; be caught hanging around at last call. 5. Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered & chihuahua's allways get whipsawed, taunted and laughed at; before ultimately becoming roadkill...(but, they do get to form their own moderated threads... hot one's too - at least temporarially hot...not. (VBG). 6. The Fun-da-mentals aint allways so Fun & anyone who focuses on them late cycle - is mental... 7. If you aren't chastised & ridiculed when you call a bottom & buy and enter the cycle - you're too late. 8. If you aren't chastised & ridiculed when you call a top & sell and exit the cycle - you're too late. 9. The fundamentals cease to matter when people begin to focus on the steak & not the sizzle... because it's the "sizzle" and not the steak - that moves stocks in this sector. 10. Once the "Big & Easy Money" has been made & has left the building... you should too... as it becomes a fools game late cycle and you can give up two years gains in 2 months - chasing bottoms ... when it's over - put a fork in it & walk away and stay away...just say NO.
