You're right. I have become more committed to democratic (lower case) principles. What buoys me is that the Republican Party is nearly maxed out. Very little opportunity for growth. The Clinton years turned every borderline Republican into a real Republican. Very, very few sources of new voters available to the Republican Party. Bush is trying to tap into the Hispanic community, but that will fail because of the issues more so than the personalities.
