Americans generally don't understand currency issues like foreigners, so we tend not to think of it.

A few years back, my uncle a retired bank president gave me some wise schooling on the markets. I didn't realize he was right until I started looking back to verify. He has helped me alot, but even he was negative on the market until Y2K and then he flipped just at the wrong time...
