The Euro is up to 89.28 cents, 1.3 cents on the day.

The dollar index is down $1.15

"Crash" is of course relative to what is common for the thing crashing. These are rather large moves for a day. For the entire value of the United States to be down one percent in a few hours is a fair amount of value to disappear. I don't know how much, but it includes all real estate, all securities, all bonds, all personal property, and the $53 that I have in my pocket.
