We just had the numbers on this thread a couple of days ago, but isn't the catholic church the largest Christian denomination....I'm not countng all the Protestants as one. And doesn't the Catholic church have hundreds of bible scholars in its' hierarchy who interpret the bible for its' flock so as to avoid having religious anarchy among them. And since you agree that the Catholic church is very conservative, wouln't you think they would be in favor of the death penalty if they thought it was part of Jesus' s teachings?
