Let us take it a bit further. Is the right of property so absolute that, should all holders of real estate decide not to sell or rent to Jews, the government should tolerate forcing them into the streets? I would say that the over- riding concern with human dignity forbids that result. Now, granting that bigotry is not so pervasive, nevertheless, how much bigotry can be tolerated before we limit property rights? Rather than attempting to quantify it, or waiting for egregious results to ensue, it seems to me that we make the judgement that some instances of bigotry are so egregious, they should be actionable, just as would be, for example, libel, which limits freedom of expression. Thereby, we draw the line between tolerable and intolerable discrimination........
