Intel is doing there best to hide the weaknesses of the P4...AMD could have never done that good. Yes if AMD had the P4 and Intel had the Athlon AMD would not be able to push the market enough to support the P4s strengths while Intel would have the marketing clout to make up for the P4's advantage of being able to list a higher mhz figure in adds. The little guy needs good performance on legacy apps. Look at AMDs earlier failure to get the market to put 3Dnow support all over the place. Tim
