Jim, This isn't a fact at all, price is the marketing tool that is used to move CPUs nowadays. This is a good part of the reason that the "sweet spot is now $800-1,200 not $1,000-1,500 as before. Intel is NOT able to move the P4s despite having a very sizable megahertz lead. You know PIII is still selling better than P4 despite being slower AND more expensive than the P4! stak >>The fact remains however that Raw Mhz supercedes all else as a marketing tool for selling CPUs to the masses. <<
