Robin,

My opinion about the rumors of which you speak is that you are right on the money. Any large drug firm wanting to pursue these compounds as drugs could easily do so by obtaining the raw herbs and isolating the compounds themselves UNLESS the methods to purify and characterize them were patented. If PRLN had the entire process locked up in patents, then drug firms would have to strike a deal with them before they could pursue these compounds. I was hoping this might be the case but I fear it is not. The only advanages that PRLN had if they had pursued the dietary supplement route was 1) being the first to market and 2) price. Now, that is gone. As for rousting Rhodes and bringing back Babish, I understand that this is very unlikely if not impossible. Also, you might be intersted to know that it was Campbell that filed a suit in Delaware to force PRLN to hold a stock holders meeting. Of course, this is officially rumor also since PRLN never admitted that such a suit was even filed in the first place.
