Another example of street/jailhouse jargon seeping its way into the popular vocabulary.

A lot of street/jailhouse jargon has a real gutsy utility to it, and many of the items being adopted will be valuable additions to the language. That's a lot more than I can say for the sterile and vacuous new age jargon that has emerged from the social sciences, the therapy room, and the world of consultants that assume that if nobody knows what they are really saying, everybody will think they are brilliant.
